Using the Magellan SporTrack with Memory Map software
This allows routes and waypoints to be transferred to and from the GPS.
Apart from that the export/import function can be used to read/write .MMO files
The .MMO file format seems to be proprietary, undocumented.
Memory Map provides for emailing of .MMO files but the recipient will need Memory Map to read them.
Configure the Memory Map software:
- GPS>GPS setup>
- Manufacturer: Magellan
- Port: COM1
- Baud rate: 4800
Configure the Magellan SporTrack:
- Menu>Setup>Baud Rate>4800
- Menu>Setup>NMEA>V2.1GSA
- Menu>Setup>Coord Sys>Primary>Lat/Long>DEG/MIN.MMM
- Menu>Setup>Map Datum>Primary>WGS84
